Better outlook

Hey everybody. I have a much better outlook on life this morning. I finally got some good sleep. Granted, I had to drug myself to do it but at this point, I will take what I can get. I am going to get some melatonin this week to see if I can just use that instead. I am sure I will get it figured out. I got really sick last night so I think maybe some of the problem was that I had a bit of a tummy bug. I feel so much better today! I am taking the afternoon to hang out by the jacuzzi with a good friend, finish the second book of a trilogy I am reading and just get some good R&R while the kiddos swim. I am going to do a little bit of research on more breakfast options on the BFC. I find that I need lots of protein in my breakfast so I can't just do the Uncle Sam's cereal anymore. I usually make a sausage and cheese muffin but it gets old having the same thing every single day and while I am a creature of habit, I do like a little variety! Sometimes I eat dinner for breakfast but sadly, today there is no leftover steak. :( I hope my research is productive and I find a few more meaty options for breakfasts. I am down another .5 this morning...yay. I don't care as much about that but since I feel really good today, every good thing seems so much better! LOL. Well, I better get going and rummage around the kitchen to find some breakfast....its way late and we need to go grocery shopping in the worst bad way so who knows what I will find!

Have a great BFC day everybody!

  1. sleep is SO important! I find that when I am not sleeping well the rest of the day goes badly too. Hope you can get more sleep tonight. I am also looking for more breakfast choices. Feel free to post any interesting ideas you have! :)

  2. Glad you are feeling better and got some sleep. I hope the melatonin works for you. I understand the need to look for different options for breakfast...I eat eggs almost everyday.

  4. I just typed a long post & it's GOOOONNNNNEE Anyway glad your feeling better. My hubby takes melatonin & swears by it. He works 3rd shift and uses it to switch his days back to nights. I think it helps with seratonin production too? I follow a blog where she has turkey bacon with her cereal/oatmeal in the morning. Maybe you could try that?
