It's not for nothing....

The problems we have in life, in relationships, in the workplace, with our children, and ourselves are not for nothing. Sometimes it can seem like there is so much wasted time on the "wrong" relationship or job or tatics with our kids and we feel like we arent making progress with any of it. I am here to tell you that it simply isn't true. Every moment in every stuggle with every issue is something we need to go through to unveil the people we will eventually be. These are lessons learned, both big and small. Some of these lessons seem senseless to us. They are not.

The lessons learned through the "wrong" path are often more vital than any other lessons. Sometimes in order to find out who you are, you must first find out who you're not by traveling down roads that don't suit. When you have taken many wrong roads, as I have, you learn who you are and have confidence that this is who you were meant to be. Not to say that you stop trying to improve but only that you know who you are and what you need to do in order to be the best "you" possible. You also learn that the "wrong" road is only wrong if you don't learn what you were suppose to learn while you were there. It may not be apparent at the time, but if you reflect back from time to time, you will realize what it was and how it has changed you. Then you can use this to be the better you. When you are green, you grow, when you are ripe....you Rot!

Remember, there are some horrible situations that may seem senseless but they are all the worse if you don't pay attention and learn what you can about yourself from them. Truely, its not for nothing!
